November meeting

On Tuesday 5 November, guest speaker at the meeting of Carnoustie Social-Eyes was PC Steve McKay, designing out crime officer, Police Scotland. Steve explained that the design out crime prevention initiative enables officers to work with architects, developers and local authority planners at the planning stage. Steve also highlighted online, telephone and doorstep frauds and scams, and the measures people can take to help keep themselves safe from these devastating crimes.

December will be a busy month for Social-Eyes. As well as the usual monthly meeting, members will visit the V&A for a described tour of the ’Hello Robot’ exhibition, attend the pantomime Hansel and Gretel in Carnoustie High School, and the group’s Christmas lunch.
